2022 Yezdi Motorcycle Line Launched With Three New Models
Classic Legends, part of the Mahindra Group and parent company of Jawa Motorcycles, resurrected the Yezdi brand by introducing three new models under the Yezdi name. The Yezdi Adventure, Scrambler and Roadster will be sold alongside Jawa Motorcycles from the same dealers. Prices for the Yezdi range start at ₹ 1.98 lakh starting with the Yezdi Roadster, up to ₹ 2.19 lakh for the high-end variant of the Yezdi Adventure. All three bikes are built on a dual cradle frame and 334cc engine, but have been individually modified on each bike to suit the specially designed character of each model. The Yezdi brand has positioned itself as a younger alternative to Jawa motorcycles and also offers more power, more features and striking designs.

The Adventure has the longest wheelbase, gets the most suspension travel and the highest ground clearance.

The Yezdi Adventure is positioned as an entry-level adventure motorcycle and takes a high stance with a round headlight, simple panels and a stepped seat. The Adventure features a short windshield, tall, wide handlebars, and additional frame brackets on the fuel tank and rear section for carrying additional luggage or fuel cans. In addition, the bike comes with a long-travel telescopic fork up front with 200mm of travel and a preload-adjustable single shock at the rear with 180mm of travel. The motorcycle receives a one-sided exhaust while the ground clearance is 220 mm. It is the only Yezdi model with single-shock rear suspension and one-sided exhaust.
The Yezdi Adventure is the only model with an adjustable tilt LCD instrument console, as well as Bluetooth connectivity and detailed navigation via a dedicated mobile app.
The Yezdi Adventure also comes with a tilt-adjustable digital instrument console that incorporates a trip meter, empty distance indicator, range, time, ABS mode and speedometer. The unit also comes with Bluetooth connectivity and offers detailed navigation via the Yezdi app. The app also offers features like call and message alerts, vehicle analysis, and owner profile.

The Yezdi Adventure rides on a 21-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel combination consisting of metal spoke wheels with long-travel suspension and 220mm ground clearance.

The Adventure rolls on a combination of 21-inch front and 17-inch rear metal spoked wheels with dual-purpose tires, while the fuel tank capacity rises to 15.5 liters . Power for the bike comes from a 334cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine tuned for 29.8 hp at 8,000 rpm and 29.9 Nm of maximum torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is associated with a 6-speed gearbox. The Adventure engine has been tuned for more power at higher revs, while peak torque is also higher but is lower in the rev range for better handling. The bike comes with three ABS modes: road, off-road and rain.
The Yezdi Scrambler has a clean, minimalist design with a cropped rear section.
Then the Yezdi Scrambler promises a fun offer and will be one of the accessible jammers for sale in the country. The bike retains the classic look with the round headlight, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and chrome dual exhaust, but gets a minimalist, stripped-down look. The Scrambler comes with knee pads, a ribbed seat and cutaway rear section and a different rear subframe. It rides on a combination of 19-inch front and 17-inch rear metal spoked wheels and uses a 12.5-liter fuel tank. The telescopic front forks have 150mm of travel, while the dual gas shocks have 130mm of travel.
The Scrambler is the lightest and has the shortest wheelbase, gets more suspension travel and ground clearance than the Roadster, but less than the Adventure.

On the Scrambler, the 334cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder engine was tuned to produce 28.7 hp at 8,000 rpm and 28.2 Nm of maximum torque at 6,750 rpm. The Scrambler has an empty weight of 182 kg and a ground clearance of 200 mm. The bike has a round offset LCD display, LED headlight and tail light, clear lens LED indicators as well as USB and Type-C charging points mounted on the handlebars which are also offered. on the Adventure. The Yezdi Roadster is the most affordable model in the Yezdi range of motorcycles, and also the closest to the original Yezdi stance and silhouette in terms of design.

The Yezdi Roadster is the most affordable model in the Yezdi motorcycle line-up, and is also the closest in design to the original Yezdi motorcycles from the 1970s. The Scrambler and Roadster share the same single-module instrument console. The Roadster is designed for everyday use, for commuting and short runs, and the engine has been tuned to develop 29.3 hp at 7,300 rpm and 29 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The Roadster has a curb weight of 184kg and also comes with the largest number of color options, including blacked out “dark” color schemes. Prices range from 1.98 lakh (Ex-showroom) to ₹ 2.06 lakh (Ex-showroom). Reservations and deliveries are currently available at all Jawa-Yezdi dealerships in India.
