The German brand has not unveiled images of the future Amarok. For now, Pablo Di Si, the president of VW in South America, anticipated: “We will modernize it, update it and add more technology to it so that it can be sold in Argentina and other Latin American markets”.

Volkswagen has not commented on the subject, but there are strong rumors that the Amarok will be discontinued at Pacheco from 2025 to make way for the Tarok, a compact pickup currently in the prototype phase and which will would compete in the Fiat segment. Bull and Ford Maverick.
The Amarok is a mid-size pickup that competes in the segment with the Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger, Chevrolet S10, Nissan Frontier, Renault Alaskan, and Mitsubishi L200, among other models.
