Police appeal after businesses targeted in two burglaries in West Lothian
A beauty shop on Howden West Road, Livingston was targeted around 2.10am.
The door window was smashed and money and hair straighteners were stolen from the property.
Police are trying to locate a male suspect described as wearing a black motorcycle helmet, dark pants and white trainers.

Officers are also seeking information following a second incident at around 3.20am in Poynters Road, Broxburn, when a blue Mini Clubman car – registration SM67CCF – was stolen from a driveway.

Both incidents happened in the early hours of July 16 and investigations into both incidents are ongoing, with police calling on anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Constable Adam Gow of Livingston CID said: “Investigations into these two incidents are ongoing and they are not being treated as related at this time.
“I would ask residents who noticed suspicious behavior at the time of these thefts to please get in touch.
“We are particularly keen to speak to anyone with CCTV cameras, dash cams or doorbells, and ask that you verify any relevant footage that may assist you.
“We do not yet have a description of the suspects in the Broxburn robbery, so it is essential that any information is passed on to the investigation team as a matter of urgency.”
