Ola S1 Pro scooter price increased: how much does it cost now
Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ola Electric today announced a price increase for its S1 Pro scooter in the Indian market. Ola opened the buy window for the third time which revealed the rising price. Now, the new price of Ola S1 Pro electric scooter is Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom). The e-scooter is now more expensive by Rs 10,000. Launched at a price of Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom) in 2021, the Ola S1 Pro received a price hike for the first time. The purchase window opened by the electric vehicle manufacturer will remain open on weekends. Moreover, the brand has already started the test camps in five cities of the country. The Ola S1 Pro electric scooter offers a claimed ARAI mileage of 185km under ideal conditions and an actual mileage of 131km. It has a top speed of 115 km/h and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds, according to the company’s claims. The Ola S1 Pro is powered by a 3.97 kWh battery which takes around 6.30 hours to fully charge. In terms of features, the electric scooter is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen, digital speedometer, remote start/stop button, 36 liters storage capacity and a burglar alarm. The tires are shod with 12-inch aluminum alloy rims for better stability. The Ola S1 Pro comes in 10 color options including Midnight Blue, Liquid Silver, Matte Black, Charcoal Grey, Marshmallow, Millennial Pink, Glamorous Coral, Porcelain White, Neo Mint and jet black.
Recently, Ola Electric became India’s number one electric two-wheeler manufacturer in just 5 months, thanks to the strong sales of the Ola S1 Pro. However, the electric vehicle maker has issued a recall of around 1,441 units due to the e-scooter fire in Pune.
