Royal Enfield motorcycles are very popular in India and abroad. A variety of modification options are available for these bikes and we have featured many tastefully modified examples on our website. Normally in India we see Classic 350 motorcycles from Royal Enfield with unique modifications. The Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 also offer a variety of aftermarket options. Here we have such a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 motorcycle that has been carefully modified by its owner. The best part is that this modified Continental GT 650 is available for sale.
The bike seen here in the pictures started life as a regular Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. Srinivas Adilapuram, a mechanical engineer by profession, modified his motorbike with the help of some of his friends. The Continental GT 650 has now been modified into a real cafe racer look. The modification work on this motorcycle was done by Ricochet Motorcycles in Pune. Starting at the front, the bike comes with a gold-colored USD fork. This unit was taken from a Benelli TNT 600. This gives the front of the bike a beefier look.

The bike now runs on wider 17-inch wheels with stock hubs and custom spokes. The wheels are wrapped in Pirelli Diablo rosso 2 tires. This new setup of front forks, wheels and tires gave the owner the look and handling they wanted. As we progress, the bike’s stock round headlight has been removed and replaced with a custom front fascia. This helps achieve the cafe racer look. the fairing gets Hella projector lamps and it comes with a carbon fiber laminate body. The owner himself had done this work on the motorcycle. The fuel tank remains the same however, with the carbon fiber finish the bike looked extremely good.
The handlebars on this bike are a bespoke unit and a Cafe Koso racing gauge is also available with the bike. The owner however currently uses the stock instrument cluster. The rear subframe of the motorcycle has been modified. It looks shorter and gets a minimalist design. This has been converted to a single-seat motorcycle and the seats are now wrapped in rugged, raw Italian leather with custom stitching on it. The engine and other exposed metal parts of this bike have been powder coated and it goes well with the overall look of the bike.
The bike gets a Royal Enfield Himalayan rear light and the rear tires are fully exposed. It gets a Dustland road racer exhaust and there are custom brass bits in some parts of the bikes. He also gets spare air filters from DNA. Coming to the specifics, this is a 2019 model Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 motorcycle. It has covered approximately 3,700 km so far. The motorcycle is registered in Maharashtra and comes with full insurance and service history. The asking price for this beautifully modified Continental GT 650 motorcycle is Rs 5 lakh.
