Easton’s Beach seasonal parking passes are now on sale
Seasonal beach parking passes are now on sale at the City Hall Collections Office!
Residents interested in obtaining a season pass are invited to come to City Hall between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday and on weekends at the beach office from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until May 28!
Please note that applicants must present current vehicle registration, as well as a valid driver’s license and payment by cash or check only.
This year’s seasonal beach parking sticker fee remains steady at $50 for Newport residents ($30 for Newport seniors) and $10 for motorcycles and mopeds. Non-resident stickers will cost $100 ($60 for seniors) and $20 for motorcycles and mopeds.
Beginning May 28, passes will also be available daily at the beach office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
And while beach passes are required to park at the beach during the season, Newport residents with residential parking passes can park for free during shoulder seasons — which run May 1-27 and September 6 to October 31.
For those going to the beach without a sticker, daily parking rates will be set at $15 on weekdays and $25 on weekends.
More information on beach parking, including a link to download the 2022 Beach Sticker App, is available on the City’s website at www.CityofNewport.com/BeachParking
The City is also looking to hire for all seasonal positions at the beach, including lifeguards and labourers/attendants. Anyone interested in submitting an application can do so by visiting www.CityofNewport.com/jobs and download the city job application.
