The Kawasaki Z900 2023 is adorned with new colors.
Kawasaki Z900 was launched in India in the latest avatar 2023. The recently updated motorcycle was priced at Rs 8.93 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price, the motorcycle has become more expensive by Rs 51,000 compared to the outgoing motorcycle. For 2023, Kawasaki has introduced new color options on the bike, while the rest of the details remain unchanged.
As seen in the case of the recently announced 2023 Kawasaki ZX-10R, the new Z900 has been introduced in two color options – Metallic Phantom Silver/Metallic Carbon Gray or Ebony/Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Grey. Except for this update, the rest of the details remain unchanged on the bike.
At the heart of the bike remains the same 948cc, inline-four, liquid-cooled engine. This unit was designed to deliver 125hp of peak power at 9,500rpm and 98.6Nm of peak torque at 7,700rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission.

For suspension duties, the bike uses a 41mm USD fork and monoshock. Both of these units are preload and rebound adjustable. For braking, there’s a pair of axially mounted Nissin four-piston front calipers biting onto two 300mm discs and a single-piston rear caliper biting onto a 250mm disc. These brakes also come standard with a dual-channel ABS unit.
Some of the key features of the new Kawasaki Z900 include full LED lighting, a 4.3-inch color TFT instrument panel, two power modes (Full and Low), four riding modes – Rain, Road, Sport and Rider ( customizable) – and three levels of traction control (in addition to the possibility of turning it off completely).
With the latest model year update, the bike renews its rivalry with other bikes in the segment such as Ducati Monster, BMW F 900 R, Triumph Street Triple R and the Honda CB650R.
